Josh finishes the 2014 season with another podium
Josh Waters grabbed himself a second place during the opening race of the British Superbike triple header at Brands Hatch. Narrowly missing out on his third victory for the season by 4/100th of a second.
Josh stormed through the field after starting from 14th on the grid, in the wet and greasy conditions. A true testament to the progress he has made throughout the season with Tyco Suzuki. Josh's stellar ride in the tricky weather conditions, scored him a pole position for race two on the Sunday.
Sundays races proved a little harder, coming off a podium the day before Josh was slightly disappointed.
Josh said " We were so close to grabbing another win in race 1, but Howie just got the edge on me over the line. We had to fight through from a tough grid position, but I am really happy to have got pole for race 2. We never really got to find a dry set up that I was comfortable with over the weekend with weather playing a great part. I was up there in the opening laps of race 2 but couldn't keep pushing comfortably."
Josh finished the season in 9th position in the overall points, ahead of his team mate John Hopkins.
