Waters snatches another win

BSB headed to Assen for round 10 of the championship where Josh Waters used his wet weather expertise to claim his second win for season.

Josh's debut at the Dutch venue know as the 'Cathedral  of speed' will be one to remember after he fought off championship contender Kiyonari in the final lap to earn himself the win.    Josh was shunted back to second in the closing laps of race one with Kiyonari adding pressure, but he wasn't to be denied forcing his way back into the lead on the final lap to wrap up victory by 0.184s.

Josh said "I'm obviously very happy.  It is my first time here at Assen so I was unsure of how I would go.  Kiyo passed me on the last lap, so to get him back was pretty cool. I live in drought stricken Mildura, so maybe we are just happy when it rains."   Josh doesn't rule out that his dirt track background helps towards his love for the slippy conditions.

Team Owner Phillip Neil said " That's very special to do that on your first race here at Assen.  We know the wet conditions favour Josh, but his confidence is building and he is improving session to session."

Race two Josh came home in 8th position, another strong top 10 finish.
