Josh Waters awarded 2011 Rider of the Year

Josh Waters received the inaugural Australian Motorcycle News Ken Wootton Rider of the Year award at the annual presentation ceremony for the Australian Superbike Championship in Melbourne on 21 November 2011.

“It was a big surprise to be awarded the AMCN Ken Wootton Rider of the year, I never thought I would win it,” said Waters. “It has been a great year and my competitors have done a great job. “Ken contributed so much to Aussie racers and he will never be replaced. I am honoured to be the first person to win this award.”
